Community Suffers in Wake of Tragic Flooding

Hildale, UT – Washakie Renewable Energy joined elected officials and business leaders to assist the Hildale community after flooding ravaged the rural Southern Utah town on Monday, September 14. The storm, believed to be one of the deadliest single weather events in Utah history, claimed the lives of at least 12 individuals. Washakie Renewable Energy expresses its condolences to the families of the victims during this difficult time.

 

“As a Utah company, we are always concerned when tragedy strikes any community in our state,” said Jacob Kingston, CEO of Washakie Renewable Energy. “Because of our statewide operations, we are in a position where we can send equipment, and people, to assist local government and public safety officials in clean up efforts when needed. We are heartbroken by the events that transpired in Hildale, and felt it was important for us to send our resources to assist those who needed it most.”
